Tayler Ruggero

COLA Senator

Year: 4th
Major: Criminal Justice and Public Policy
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA

Hi! My name is Tayler and I’m a Criminal Justice and Public Policy Student, and I also have minors in Spanish, Army Military Sciences, and Geographical Information Systems. I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and absolutely love my home city—including all the sports teams and the food! Besides for my work in SG, I am very involved on campus and in many clubs, I am also a RA in the Center for Residences Life, I work as a note-taker, and a student researcher through the Center for Public Safety Initiatives. In my spare time I am a volunteer youth cheerleading coach at the Victor Jr Blue Devils, and a volunteer EMT at Victor Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Over the summer I had the opportunity to work with the United Nations in Bonn, Germany doing GIS research for disaster management, and had a ton of fun spending the weekends traveling around Europe!

I am so excited to serve as the College of Liberal Arts Senator this year! The CoLA community has really been working hard to build a name for ourselves and I hope to continue that fight by expanding the CoLA career fair, which began last spring, and continuing to work with the Student Advisory Board to find new ways to engage the CoLA community and provide CoLA students with as many opportunities and resources as possible.
