Hello everyone! My name is Enri Marini and I have the honor of serving as the Student Government Senator for the Kate Gleason College of Engineering this year! I am currently a 5th year Microelectronics Engineering student. I had the privilege of serving as the Director of Student Relations for Student Government last year, in which I managed and oversaw RIT PawPrints. My goal as the KGCOE Senator this year is to promote community engagement by establishing a centralized platform where students in the KGCOE community can easily communicate and share ideas in. I look forward to working with the KGCOE students, faculty, and staff. Here’s to a great year!
This summer I had the chance to work with a defense contractor called L-3 Cincinnati Electronics, which makes cameras for every aircraft and space system in the world. This aircraft was donated to the United States Air force Museum in Dayton, Ohio to which I had the opportunity to visit while on co-op. This manned aircraft is just one of the many examples that makes use of the cameras made by L-3, to which I helped develop.
The thing I am most excited for this year is to be conducting research for my senior design project with one of my professors whom I have worked with the past 3 years.
