Ian Stroszeck

Student Affairs Committee Chair

Year: 1st
Majors: Computing Security
Hometown: Rochester, NY

Hello there, fellow human! I’m Ian Stroszeck and I am the current chair of the Student Affairs Committee. This is my first year being part of Student Government and I am so excited to be able to advocate on behalf of RIT students. Since coming to RIT this fall, I’ve become really interested in learning ASL; going to No Voice Zone each week to broaden my vocabulary, as well as joining other clubs, such as SPARSA and NextHop. When I’m not doing my Computer Science homework, you’ll often find me out exploring RIT’s beautiful (albeit windy) campus with my friends or hanging around the SG Office. So stop by and visit! I’d love to meet you!

To represent to the interests of the student body through the implementation of innovative programs, services, and initiatives that enrich student lives. We will be the primary source of advocacy for students from Rochester Institute of Technology and we will utilize our shared governance structure to voice student opinion and concern. RIT Student Government will be the forefront of change within the university.
